Doodee Boran began as a collective group wishing to bring the highlights of Thailand’s cuisine to Australia and has since flourished to become Brisbane’s best in Thai street food. The first half of this restaurant’s name sake ‘Doodee’ refers to the popular dish Tom Yum Noodle, which is widely referred to as Doodee in Thailand – and as such has become Doodee Boran’s signature dish. The latter half of their namesake ‘Boran’ translates to the word antique from Thai and leads as the inspiration for their quirky and colourful interior design choices within the restaurant.

Doodee Boran endeavours to pay homage to authentic Thai cuisine, serving as both a slice of Thailand for those feeling homesick and also for those who appreciate good food cooked with the heart.
